If you are interested in reading aloud to students in grades Kindergarten or First Grade, please join us for a training on November 30th at the Gilmer County Board of Education Office. The training is about one hour, but we want to allow time for paperwork to be completed and for questions to be answered. Questions? Please call Miss West, 304.462.7386, ext. 170. Thanks so much!!

On Thursday, kindergarten hosted a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Feast and parents were invited to attend. Of course, on Snoopy's menu was toast, popcorn, pretzel sticks, jelly beans and ice cream. Mr. Price also spoke to parents about the importance of attendance and how chronic absenteeism may prevent children from reaching early learning milestones. #GoGilmer

GCES would like to wish our families a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving break!

Mrs. Price and Mrs. Debbie's little kindergarten "turkeys" enjoyed playing some turkey games to kick off Thanksgiving Break🦃 #GoGilmer
