Class of 2026 Honor Graduates - Valedictorians Anna Mason and Kinley Minigh on one side and Salutatorian Jenna Smith on the Right

The commencement ceremony for Gilmer County High School’s graduating class of 2026 took place on Sunday, May 24, at Glenville State University’s Waco Center.  Friends, family, faculty, and staff celebrated as students received their diplomas, marking the beginning of the next chapter in each of their lives.

This year, Gilmer County High School had two co-valedictorians.  First, we have Anna Mason, who is the daughter of Shelly Mason and Nathaniel Mason of Auburn.  Anna plans on attending the University of Miami where she intends to study Biology and eventually wants to become a dermatologist.
