The commencement ceremony for Gilmer County High School’s graduating class of 2025 took place on Friday, May 23, at Glenville State University’s Waco Center.  Friends, family, faculty, and staff celebrated as students received their diplomas, marking the beginning of the next chapter in each of their lives. 

This year’s Valedictorian is Callie Moyers, daughter of Cliffton and Heather Moyers of Glenville. Callie plans on attending Glenville State University this fall where she will pursue her degree in History and Political Science.  Following the attainment of her four-year degree at Glenville, she intends on entering law school at West Virginia University.
