WV All-State Children’s Chorus
Congratulations go to Erin Barr and Braylee Holbert who performed with the West Virginia All-State Children’s Chorus on Friday, March 1st at the Civic Center in Charleston. This year’s chorus was made up of 228 singers who are 4th, 5th, or 6th grade students at elementary and middle schools throughout the state. The girls had to learn and memorize seven songs prior to going to Charleston. They rehearsed with the other singers for two days before performing their concert together.
Erin, a fourth-grade student, is the daughter of Jason and Kelly Barr. Braylee, a fifth-grade student, also participated in the All-State Children’s Chorus last year. She is the daughter of Ashley and Bradley Holbert. #GoGilmer
