Mr. Price visited the state capitol on January 30th to meet with our partners from Save the Children. While there, they met with lawmakers to share the positive opportunities a partnership between Save the Children and school districts brings to our students and community. In Gilmer County, Save the Children has helped bring in funding for early childhood programs, after-school programs, summer school programs, a mobile feeding unit, books for students, and more. Because the partnership focuses on the local school and community, opportunities and programs are connected directly to employees of Gilmer County Schools. We appreciate their continued support of our students and community!
